With only a couple of days to go before the start of the Ultimate Fantasy League I decided it would be a good idea to publish the teams on the website for all to view .

Also I think that I shall be referring to teams via their managers name and not the team name , as it will just make life easier . Furthermore at no additional cost I have enlisted the services of a very well known football expert to comment on the sides the managers have selected and give his words of wisdom . Due to contractual commitments elsewhere the expert would like to keep his identity secret , therefore he shall just be known as The Gunners Gob .

Scores and results for the Ultimate Fantasy League shall be published ( all being well ) the weekend following the fixtures .

Gunners Gob says – Nini has selected well here and I expect him to end in a top four position this season , Defoe and Bent both finished in the top five strikers last term and Ashley Young seems to be a bargain at just £1million , the same amount as he paid for Cattermole !

Gunners Gob says – Dicko has selected the most expensive defence in the division , and this fact isbacked up by the fact he has only spent £4million on his attack . Rumours are that Robbie Keane is on his way out of the Lane .

Gunners Gob says – Nick has bought well and it looks certain that Fabregas will stay at the Emirates this term . Although points do not count Hernadez and Kalou were both on target in the Community Shield last weekend .

Gunners Gob says – Ady has last season’s top defender John Terry in what looks like a solid defence , Swartzer could be on his way to Arsenal which can only boost Ady’s chances . Michael Carrick on a free has to be good business

Gunners Gob says – Buger is heavily reliant on his two most expensive signings Joe Cole and Wayne Rooney and this meant he had to have three of his four defenders on a free . Yakubu could be on his way to Upton Park which could boost his chances of playing .

Gunners Gob says – This side has a degree of consistency written all over it , it will be interesting to see if Chamakh can live up to the pre-season hype and whether Nasri will be on top form . No Liverpool players for Boz though , somewhat surprising

Gunners Gob says – Now this is a good side , Luke Young a £1million bargain , whilst many scoffed at the £20million paid for Vermaelen , will Berbatov’s community shield goal re-ignite his Premiership goalscoring prowess

Gunners Gob says – Well , Bruce ended the auction with £33million still in his pocket , and frankly looking at this side you can see why . Kenwyne Jones has left Sunderland and moved to Stoke , so this could be a plus point , he went to the Potteries for £8m , six million more than Bruce paid for him . Up ront with Jones Bruce has gone for Peter Crouch , this could earn him big points if the big lad continues his recent form playing away from home

STALKER

Gunners Gob says – Stalker chose to put all his eggs in two baskets , but what a couple of baskets they are , Lampard and Drogba will be big point scorers for Stalks this term . Interestingly since the auction Paul Robinson and Wes Brown have both retired from International duty therefore committing themselves to Stalkers team . Rumours are that Emerson Boyce is on the verge of quitting the international scen as well !

SPIKE

Gunners Gob says – Spike has a three man team with a smattering of useful cheap assets , Shay Given was bought on a free , but now may not be the main Man City custodian . Kuyt , Gerrard and Torres are the obivious quality in the side , but Titus Bramble ??

Foster ; Ferdinand , Johnson , Carvalho , Kolorov ; Milner , Arshavin , Giggs , Cahill ; Piquionne , Zigic

Gunners Gob says – Rob’s front two cost him a total of £2million , and there is no doubt they are big point scorers – if you are playing scrabble that is . I’ve no doubt Carvelho will keep plenty of clean sheets this season , unfortunately for Rob I do not think they will be in this country

COCKER

Almunia ; Vidic , Corluka , King , Skrtel ; Arteta , Mascherano , Guitierrez ; Tevez , Bellamy , Adebayor

Gunners Gob says – Cocker , Cocker , Cocker what have you done . Arsenal are urgently seeking a replacement for Almunia . Ledley King has already booked a season ticket at various hospitals across the country , Arteta is now top of Barcelona’s hit list , how Mascherano is still at Anfield is beyond me and now Craig Bellamy says he is considering retiring .
